Short description of the project:
The Action “Municipal Service Quality Assessment Toolkit” (MUSCAT) is a 24-months intervention led by the grass-root civil society organisation Centre for Training and Consultancy (CTC) based in Tbilisi in partnership with the local organisation Media Centre Kakheti based in Telavi, Kakheti region.
The Action contributes to successfully reforming and upgrading municipal services into high quality, accessible and well-administered services, as foreseen by the Public Administration Reform Roadmap 2018-2020.
Within the project, the second edition of the Municipality Service Quality Assessment Toolkit will be published and disseminated. The e-platform, complementary to the Toolkit, will be developed and launched. Assessment of municipality service quality system will be produced.
Moreover, in order to strengthen capacities of local actors, the series of short cross-municipal trainings for Kakheti civil society organisations and the Municipalities will be organised. CSOs will also have an opportunity to implement small-scale community advocacy initiatives on boosting municipal services via sub-granting scheme.
