Community Action Training (CAT) for Civic Activists was developed and implemented by the Center for Training and Consultancy in 2018. The CAT Education Program is an international curriculum designed to help young leaders and activists develop competencies in civic leadership and non-violent activism campaigns.

Within the framework of the STAR project, it is planned to adapt the CAT training modules to the needs of Georgian activists, train mentors and up to 50 civil activists. The course also provides small grants competitions for graduates to apply the knowledge gained in practice and initiate small campaigns.

This activity builds on and continues the community leader training program under the previous CSSIGE project, which trained 188 community activists across the country.
